BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – A three vehicle injury accident yesterday afternoon in Branch County tied up traffic on U.S. 12 west of Bronson for more than an hour. A 24-year old woman was trapped in the wreckage of one of the vehicles, which were all totaled in the crash that happened shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday. She was taken to the Community Health Center of Branch County for treatment of several possible fractures and lacerations.
The collision occurred near McMahon Drive in Bronson Township. Two other people suffered only minor injuries. No names or other information was available since there was no news release issued by Michigan State Police, who are investigating the accident.
A section of U.S. 12 near the crash was shut down for an hour and a half following the accident.
