Marlene Marie Reincke, 79, of Tekonsha, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022, at The Villas of Winston Park.
Services have been entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Service, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068, where visitation will be held Friday, March 4, 2022, 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 5, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Brandon Crawford, officiating.
Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Tekonsha at a later date.
She was born on July 27, 1942, to Wayne and Kathryn (Wilcox) Mack in Detroit, MI and a graduate at Union City High School, Class of 1960, which was the last graduating class of the old high school. Younger in life, Marlene worked for Marshall Country Club, Tekonsha High School Food Service, Green’s Hardware and of most recent, she was a Para Pro Classroom Aide and Bus Attendant for Branch Intermediate Head Start through 2007.
October 21, 1961, she married John H. Reincke in Union City. Marlene was a volunteer for Red Cross in their blood drives and attended Union Church of Tekonsha. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, and volunteering, but above all else, she loved her family and treasured her grandchildren.
Marlene is survived by her three children, Kim (Norman Mulkey) Reincke of Tekonsha, MI; Kevin J. (Michelle) Reincke of Alexandria, IN, and Kip (Anne Walters) Reincke of Tekonsha, MI; also five grandchildren, Adam (Danni) Reincke, Isaac (Alainie) Reincke, Owen Reincke, Cortney (Andrew) Csire, Rachel (Troy) Jude; six great-grandchildren, Noah Jude, Carlen Tackett, Lucus Csire, Brynlee Csire, Bentley Tackett, and Baby Reincke coming in July, as well as brother, Marlin (Karen) Mack.
She was preceded in death on July 28, 2008, by her beloved husband, John Reincke and parents, Wayne and Kathryn Mack.
Marlene loved flowers, but if preferred, memorial contributions are suggested to Oaklawn Hospice, 13444 Preston Drive, Marshall, MI 49068.
