COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – It’s chilly, but not as blustery today in the Branch County area as Tuesday. A Wind Advisory was in effect yesterday afternoon and the National Weather Service reported a top wind gust of 44 mph in Coldwater.
However, the chill factor is more noticeable today with high temperatures only expected to reach around 40 to the lower 40’s and that’s 20 degrees below normal. More proof that is must be spring in Michigan and the season of change was on display this morning when a few isolated snow showers were noticed in the Coldwater area.
There’s a possibility of frost both Thursday and Friday mornings so you should probably make plans for protection of any vulnerable vegetation.
