MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater and Quincy traveled to Marshall to participate in the annual Marshall Sportsfest Tom Reynolds Invitational. The Cardinals came away with a 5th place finish out of the 16 teams that played, while the Orioles finished 14th.
Jackson Lumen Christi won the event with a team score of 323 followed closely by Portage Central at 324 and Marshall at 325.
Coldwater shot a 348, one stroke behind Stevensville Lakeshore’s 347, and was led by Jett Galloway and Talan Eberts, who each shot 80 on the day, placing them in a tie for 5th place. Kyle Sheppard had a 92, Brady Arver carded a 96 and Rayce Johnson rounded out Coldwater’s scoring with a 101.
Quincy had a team score of 391 and was led by Sam Sawyer’s 88. Dave Milliman shot a 91, Chase Waters had a 104, and Keegan Neely and Derrek Newberry each shot 110.
