COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The first Tibbits Popcorn Theatre production since 2019 will open at the Tibbits Opera House on June 17.
Popcorn Theater at the Tibbits was not held in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Beauty and the Lonely Beast” will kick off Tibbits Popcorn Theatre for 2022.
Besides the support of many sponsors locally, Tibbits also receives grant funding from the Michigan Arts & Culture Council as well as the National Endowment for the Arts.
“Beauty and the Lonely Beast” will run June 17, 18, 24, and 25 at 10:00 a.m. It will be followed by Magician Alan Kazam, “The Jungle Book,” “Patrica Polacco’s Union City” and “Classic Cartoon Cavalcade.”
All Tibbits Popcorn Theatre presentations are Fridays and Saturdays at 10am and run through August 10.
Patrons will be treated to free popcorn and juice at intermission.
Popcorn Theatre will have reserved seating for the first time.
