COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Planning Commission made four changes to proposed by-laws during a 90 minute discussion before formally adopting them Monday night.
City Planner Dean Walrack said one of the changes was removing language that called for the administrative officer’s term to correspond with the term of the Mayor who appointed them.
There was also a tweak to the order of the meeting agenda.
There were also a couple of changes to the part of the by laws covering conflicts of interests involving members of the Planning Commission.
The adoption of the by-laws was part of an effort to achieving a “Redevelopment Ready Community” (RRC) designation through the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC).
