STURGIS TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Two men were arrested early Tuesday morning in St. Joseph County following a home invasion.
The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department says their deputies were sent to a home in the 29000 block of U.S. 12 in Sturgis Township at about 2:40 a.m.
Before deputies and Sturgis Police arrived, the caller said two men ran from the house and into some nearby woods. They were later apprehended without further incident.
All the stolen property from the home has been recovered. Both suspects were lodged at the St. Joseph County Jail and charges are being sought for Larceny of a Safe and Home Invasion.
