COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater High School’s Connor Covert will soon go from being a Cardinal to a Chippewa. Covert’s official signing ceremony with the Central Michigan University track and field team as a scholarship athelete was held at the high school Monday afternoon.
As a junior, Covert finished in 5th place in both the shot put and discus at the MHSAA Division 2 State Finals in June.
