METZ, IN (WTVB) – Two Steuben County women were injured Thursday afternoon when their vehicles collided at the intersection of U.S. 20 and 700 East near Metz, Indiana.
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Department says the accident happened at about 4:40 p.m. when a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Dalaina Hutchins of Hamilton struck the back of a vehicle driven by 40-year-old Rachel Konrad of Angola as Konrad was trying to make a left turn.
Both drivers were taken to Cameron Memorial Coimmunity Hospital. Konrad complained of pain to her neck and side while Hutchins had a lower leg injury.
The Sheriff’s Office got assistance from Steuben County EMS, Angola firefighters and Steuben County Commuications.
