COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Union City woman is scheduled to be sentenced on Monday in Branch County District Court after entering a no contest plea to an embezzlement charge.
41-year-old Stephanie Wilkinson has also agreed to pay $17,000 in restitution. Prosecutors would drop a charge of falsifying medical records as part of the plea agreement which was filed three weeks ago.
Wilkinson was a one time receptionist at the Smile Avenue Dental Office.
An investigation began after customers began complaining about services they had already paid for.
