DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Lions will host the Washington Commanders Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
The Lions are 0-and-1 on the season. Jared Goff struggled in Detroit’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles after throwing for just 215 yards along with two touchdowns and an interception. However, the team found space on the ground with Deandre Swift racking up 144 yards and a touchdown and Jamaal Williams also scored twice.
The question remains if the Lions banged-up offensive line can hold up long enough for Goff to make critical throws.
Washington enters 1-and-0 after holding off the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week One.
