COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – It’s Senior Citizens Day today at the Branch County Fair. A program for seniors will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Dearth Center.
The schedule includes Dairy Showmanship in the Show Shelter, English horses and ponies in the horse arena, youth radio controlled cars in the 4-H cabin pavilion, a BBQ Chicken Dinner to benefit 4-H in the Dearth Center and the Small Animal Auction which starts at 5:00 p.m.
There will also be an off road demolition derby at 7:30 p.m. in the Amphitheater.
The question of the day at the Branch County Republican fair booth for Wednesday was “The Democratic Party and President Obama remain committed to closing the detention facility at Guantánamo Bay and releasing captured terrorists. Do you agree with this position?”The response was 9 YES and 83 NO.
