SAN FRANCISCO, CA (WKZO AM/FM) – Saddiq Bey drained a long three-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Detroit Pistons past the Golden State Warriors 122-119 Wednesday.
Bey’s 28-foot triple came after Klay Thompson drilled a game-tying three-pointer with just 2.1-seconds remaining for the Warriors.
Bojan Bogdanovic dropped in 29 points for Detroit, which moved to 2-and-2 on its current five-game road trip. Jalen Duren added 18 points and Bey ended with 17 off the bench in the victory.
Thompson put up a game-high 30 points to lead the Warriors, who saw their season-high five-game winning streak come to an end. Jordan Poole added 24 points in the setback.
The Pistons wrap up their five game road trip tomorrow in San Antonio.
