COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Prosecutors have filed two counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct against a 19-year-old Homer resident in connection with an alleged incident at a underage drinking party in Batavia Township on or about July 16, 2022.
Olando Trader was booked at the Branch County Jail last Friday night following an investigation by the Branch County Sheriff’s Office.
He was arraigned in Branch County District Court the following day.
According to court documents, the alleged victim was a 16-year-old girl.
She made a complaint to the Sheriff’s Department about Trader the day after the alleged incident.
Trader denied having any sexual encounters with her when he was interviewed by investigators.
Not guilty pleas were entered on behalf of the defendant during the arraignment and bond was set at $50,000.
A probable cause hearing was scheduled for February 9 with a preliminary exam set for February 14.
