BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater’s Mickey Mantle White team swept a doubleheader from the Mid Michigan Shockwave on Monday night in Battle Creek by scores of 8-3 and 5-1. First game winning pitcher Lucas Santure went the distance as he struck out six and did not walk a batter. Oliver Winter had an RBI while Porter Skidmore, Austin Robey and Alex Everett all had singles.
Skidmore got the win in the relief in the nightcap as he recorded five strike outs, walked one and only allowed one hit. Winter had an RBI single while Brady Snow, Lucas Santure, Austin Santure and Brent Smoker all had singles.
