JAMESTOWN TOWNSHIP, IN (WTVB) – The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office is looking into the break in of numerous storage units in the area of State Road 120 and County Road 300 West which they think took place sometime Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. They say numerous tools, lawn mowing equipment, generators, ATV’s, power tools, die cast collector cars and a 28 foot Hal-Mark enclosed trailer with a custom Corvette paint scheme were stolen.
If you may have seen anything suspicious in or around that particular area or any other storage area, you are asked to call the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office at (260) 668-1000 extension 5000 or Steuben County Communications at (260) 665-3131.
The Sheriff’s Office says there have been several storage units broken into over the past few months. Patrols have been increased to those areas.
