CHARLOTTE, NC (WTVB) – Police in Charlotte-Mecklenberg, North Carolina say a person of interest has been developed in the stabbing death of 2014 Bronson High School graduate Skyler Ryker.
WBTV-TV says police found the 19-year-old Ryker with minor injuries after he was stabbed early Saturday morning. He was pronounced dead a short time later at a hospital in Mount Holly.
The stabbing took place following an altercation and police say it was not a random act of violence.The name of the person of interest has not been released.
WBTV reports that police say they are not looking for anyone else and that detectives are talking with the District Attorney’s Office regarding the case.
