CALHOUN COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Calhoun County Public Health Department has again temporarily reduced its clinical services.
All clinical staff have been assigned to assist with COVID-19 response efforts due to the increase in cases. Beginning on Monday, the Battle Creek and Albion Clinics will be temporarily closed while services are temporarily suspended due to COVID-19 response efforts.
Appointments already scheduled through next week will continue and only mandated clinical services will be scheduled
Meanwhile, the Calhoun County Public Health Department has announced additional flu clinics are open to the public including one at the Tekonsha Fire Department on Friday, November 6 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m..
Other clinics will be held at the Homer Community House on Thursday, October 22 from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and at Albion College in the Ferguson Parking Lot on Monday, October 26 from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Friday, October 30 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m..
For those without insurance, the flu vaccine will be provided at no charge. For those with insurance, insurances will be billed. There will be no out-of-pocket expense.
The Public Health Department asks that all patients complete a flu form prior to their scheduled appointment for a flu shot.
