COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Planning Commission approved a pair of items on Monday night.
They approved a request from Consumers Energy to rezone 71 acres of land on Jonesville Road across from the Wal Mart Distribution facility to light industrial so that a new service center can be constructed.
The rezoning request now moves onto the Coldwater City Council.
Meanwhile, the Planning Commission approved a site plan for the proposed expansion of the Jesus Name Apostolic Church of Coldwater at 300 Smith Street.
Plans call for the addition of 2,400 square feet to the existing 4,800 square foot building.
