COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater’s girls soccer team battled Jackson Northwest to a scoreless tie on the Cardinals home pitch Wednesday night.
It was the Cardinals second match in 24 hours after they won a hard fought 2-1 match against Parma Western on Tuesday night.
Coldwater had their chances but the Northwest defense were able to shut out the Cardinals offense with a very defensive setup.
Coldwater Coach Keith Johnson said, “We are down to two subs which makes it very difficult for all the players with two games back to back.”
Coldwater goaltender Izzie Pool recorded a shutout.
The Cardinals are now 6-5-3 overall and 2-2-2 in the Interstate 8.
