QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy girls soccer team advanced in the M.H.S.A.A. Division Three district tournament on Thursday night with a 7-3 home pitch victory over Springport.
The Orioles built a 4-0 lead before half time.
Kallie Glei scored twice. Sami Hollenbaugh and Abigail Harmon also scored in the first half.
Springport was able to get on the board in the beginning of the second half. Quincy answered quickly with Kaitlyn Galinis scoring just five minutes later.
Hollenbaugh was able to find the back of the net two more times which gave her the hat trick.
Quincy out shot Springport 17-8. The Orioles will travel to Brooklyn Columbia Central on Wednesday to play the second round of districts against Michigan Center.
