KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Western Michigan University students and their parents will find out today just how much higher college bills will be this fall.
The WMU Board of Trustees will meet late this morning to set tuition, mandatory fees and room and board rates for the coming school year.
Tuition increases already approved around the state range from 3.5% at the University of Michigan to 6% at Northern Michigan University.
Once those rates are set today, the board will also be able to approve their proposed budget for the 2023-2024 school year.
The Board of Trustees also plans to take a look at their five-year capital outlay plan.
