BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Bronson Community Schools is seeking input from citizens in the district as to what they should do with a recent donation of over $439,000 from The Diana K. Milliman Living Trust.
According to her wishes, Ms. Milliman stated that she would like the donation to benefit students in the district.
A question has been posted online asking respondents do they want the funds to be used for updated classroom furniture, athletic complex updates and upgrades, updating lockers at Anderson Elementary, updating lockers in the locker rooms at Bronson Junior and Senior High School or apply the funds towards a potential future bond proposal.
Respondents can also write in a suggestion. Input will be collected through September 1.
The district is also planning to set aside a portion of the funds for a scholarship opportunity, but they would like input on how they might utilize the remaining funds.
