COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The snow has let up but roads in the area can still be hazardous for drivers. Just ask a 17-year old from Coldwater. He was injured late last night when the van he was driving slid into a ditch along M-86 near the U.S. 12 cutoff just west of Coldwater.
The call for help came into 911 Central Dispatch shortly after 11 p.m. Initial reports indicated the teen was unresponsive. However, it appears he wasn’t hurt very bad, complaining of head pain as he was taken by Lifecare Ambulance to the Community Health Center of Branch County for treatment.
The accident remains under investigation by Michigan State Police. No name was released.
