Lawrence L. “Larry” Wetzel, 70, of Burlington, passed away at home on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 under the care of Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2020 at Burlington Cemetery on M-60 with Pastor Earl Greer from Fellowship Bible Church of Albion officiating.
Larry was born October 3, 1950 in Fremont, Ohio to Calvin and Audrey (Myers) Wetzel. He lived most of his life in the Fremont area, except for the four years he resided in California and then eventually relocating to Michigan in 2010. In 1997, he married the former Bonnie (Goodrich) Arnold, who survives him.
Over the years, Larry worked doing spray painting, welding, carpentry, fabrication and plumbing. He and his wife attended Wayside Temple Church is Castalia, OH and more recently were members of Fellowship Bible Church of Albion.
In addition to his wife, Bonnie, Larry is survived by his step-mother, Arlene Wetzel of Fremont, OH; his step-children, John (Janice) Goodrich of Wapakoneta, OH, Rusty Arnold and Randy Arnold, both of Port Clinton, OH; siblings Kathy McClain and Marcia Ohms, both of Fremont, OH; half-brothers, Curt Wetzel and Kent Wetzel, also of Fremont, OH, and many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
