COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The case of a Branch County Jail inmate who was accused of getting into a fight with two corrections officers in late June has been bound over to Branch County Circuit Court.
24-year-old Kevin James Nall waived his preliminary exam Wednesday in Branch County District Court on assault charges.
He is scheduled to appear in Branch County Circuit Court November 6, 2017.
Nall has another pending case in Circuit Court after he was charged with Resisting and Obstructing a Police Officer causing injury, Disarming a Police Officer non-firearm and Domestic Violence following a confrontation with Quincy Police Chief Scott Olney last January on West Jefferson Street.
Olney suffered facial injuries in the incident. He was responding to a reported domestic complaint at the time.
