BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The dual meet portion of the season ended for the Coldwater Cardinals on Thursday night as they lost to Vicksburg 44-30 in the Division Two Team Wrestling Districts at Harper Creek.
The Cardinals got their points on four pins and a void.
Scoring pins for Coldwater were Ruben Torres at 132, Tre Miller at 157, Kayden Roby at 175 and Raul Cecilo at 215. Jack Ruden won on a void at 190.
Meanwhile, the Bronson Vikings now know who and where they will wrestle next Wednesday night in the Division Four Team Wrestling Regionals.
The Vikings will travel to Mendon to battle the host Hornets in the regional semifinals.
The winner will face either Delton Kellogg or Springport in the regional championship match.
The winner of the Mendon regional will advance to the MHSAA quarterfinals at Wings Event Center on February 23.
