COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Girls bowling team wrapped up the Interstate 8 Conference championship on Thursday with a 24-6 victory over Parma Western at Midway Lanes in the Cardinals final league meet of the season.
The Coldwater Girls took both regular games 733 to 639 and 781 to 597, taking totals 1514 to 1236. They also took both Baker games 192 to 155 and 188 to 84, taking Totals 380 to 199.
The Cardinals were led by Kylie Cook with a 188 and a 171, Alexis Wood with a 179 and Lily Cook with a 170.
The Coldwater Boys earned their second Victory of the season as they defeated the Panthers 18-12.
The Boys lost the first game 864 to 855, taking game two 899 to 823, taking totals 1754 to 1687. They split the Baker games, winning game one 172 to 150, dropping game two 173 to 166, taking totals 338 to 323.
Coldwater was led by Lennon Swick with a 209 and a 202, Brady Hawver a 203 and Kameron Corwin a 194.
The Coldwater JV’s bowled a split squad and lost 27 1/2 to 2 1/2.
