UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – New Mission and Vision Statements have been created for the Union City School District.
Superintendent Chris Katz told the Union City School Board on Monday night the mission of the district is to educate and prepare each child for their future.
He went on to say they are almost like a social services agency due to additional support that so many students need in many areas.
He added they are trying to be a model small community school district.
The Mission and Vision statements were put together following a number of meetings with district stakeholders.
