ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – Indiana State Police are looking into a possible shooting incident which they say took place just after midnight September 23 2017 on the Indiana Toll Road just east of the exit for I-69 and Angola.
Troopers say they got a report of possible shots being fired at a passing motorist from an overpass near the 146.5 mile marker.
According to a preliminary investigation, the driver of an eastbound a semi reported seeing two flashes of light from an overpass before his windshield shattered. Troopers reported that a projectile passed through the windshield of the semi and continued out the back window.
