BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Smitty’s Pizza in downtown Bronson is coming to the aid of Jim Ramsey.
He has done a lot of things for the Bronson Community. Ramsey was one of the organizers of the monthly Bronson Community Breakfast.
Since it started a year ago, it has raised almost $12,000 for local non-profits.
The February breakfast raised $1,240 to support the scholarship programs at St. Mary’s & St. Charles schools. Each school got $620.
Sadly, Ramsey suffered a stroke just a few days after the breakfast that required surgery.
One way Smitty’s Pizza is giving back to him is by donating 50 percent of all food sales back to his family this Friday, March 8 between 11:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m..
Money will also be connected through donation jars.
For now, the monthly Bronson Community breakfasts are on hold while Ramsey recovers. Updated information will be posted on the Community Breakfast Facebook page.
