In tonight’s High School Football action, Coldwater, Union City and Bronson all have homecoming games while Quincy travels to Homer.
The Coldwater Cardinals host the Jackson Lumen Christi Titans at Cardinal Field. The Cardinals hope this year’s homecoming will be déjà vu all over again. Coldwater defeated Lumen Christi 26-7 during homecoming two years ago which was the first Cardinal victory over the Titans in 28 attempts. Lumen took a 21-20 overtime victory over Coldwater last year when they stopped the Cardinals on a two point conversion attempt. The Titans went on to win the State Championship in Division Six and are ranked second this week in the Michigan Associated Press High School football poll. Game time is 7:00pm. Coverage starts at 6:30am here on AM1590 and FM95.5 WTVB and on line at www.wtvbam.com

Richard Nixon was in the White House the last time Bronson and Jonesville faced each other in football. Tonight’s meeting will be the first between the Comets and the Vikings since 1972 when they were members of the Little C Conference. Bronson won that game 32-6.
Quincy will be out to snap a two game losing streak and rekindle their post season hopes after last week’s heartbreaking loss to archrival Reading.
