COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Little River Railroad is gearing up to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
As part of the commemoration, the Little River Railroad is inviting passionate train enthusiasts, and community members alike, to join in keeping the spirit of steam trains alive.
The Little River Railroad is seeking volunteers who are willing to lend a hand as car attendants and conductors during the Easter runs on March 30.
Departures will be at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. from the Coldwater station.
These volunteer roles involve tasks such as loading and unloading passengers, ensuring passenger safety, and sharing the magic of train travel with guests.
No prior experience is necessary and minimal training will be provided.
Volunteers can sign up to assist as their schedules permit. The trains operate exclusively on weekends.
To be eligible, volunteers must be at least 15 years old and possess a genuine passion for trains and community engagement.
