BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Sheriff’s Office says they have been made aware of a new scam involving a notice you may get in the mail.

They say if you should receive this notice in the mail DO NOT respond to it, it is a scam.
The Sheriff’s Office reports the pin number, the notice number and the header are not associated with Branch County at all.
If you have any questions about your taxes, you can contact the Treasurer’s Office or the Register of Deeds Office.

Two dead giveaways: in top left corner, “judgement” is spelled wrong. There’s no e after the g. Grammar and word usage is always bad in a foreign scam.
