COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The City of Coldwater will start hydrant flushing on Monday, April 15th.
Officials say the flushing of hydrants is done to ensure the City’s water distribution system properly functions and improves water quality for residents.
Flushing will take place between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m..
You may notice a slight discoloration of your water when the hydrants are flushed.
If this occurs, slowly run cold water out of your faucet until the water becomes clear.
Drivers should exercise caution when approaching a hydrant as the road may be wet.
