BRONSON TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Two persons had to be taken to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital on Thursday afternoon following a three vehicle crash on U.S. 12 east of McMahon Drive in Bronson Township.
The crash was reported at 4:06 p.m.. The Branch County Sheriff’s Department says a preliminary investigation indicates that Widly Francois of Goshen, Indiana was east bound on U.S. 12 and struck the back of a vehicle driven by Kenneth Doyle of Bronson.
The Francois vehicle then went into the west bound lane and struck a vehicle being driven by Tracy Brannon of Sturgis.
Francois suffered injuries to his head and chest. Brannon had injuries to her left leg, face, and left arm.
The injured persons were attended to by the Bronson Fire Department and Life Care medics. They were then transported to ProMedica for further treatment.
The crash is still under investigation. Deputies were assisted by Lifecare Ambulance, the Bronson Fire Department, the Bronson Police Department and the Branch County Sheriff’s Office Victim Services Unit.
