JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – In girls high school golf, Coldwater finished fourth in the third Interstate 8 Jamboree of the season on Wednesday which was hosted by Jackson Lumen Christi at the Cascades Golf Course in Jackson. Coldwater had a team score of 188. Lumen Christi won the event with a 172 followed by Hastings with a 177 and Marshall with a 184. Jackson Northwest came in 5th with a 197, Jackson Parma Western was 6th shooting a 208 and Harper Creek rounded out the scoring with a 221.
Coldwater was led by Claire Sheppard with a 44, Jayla Goodwin had a 46, Kelly Warner carded a 48 and Hunter Jenkot, Molly Smith, and Micki Slack all shot 50’s for their rounds.
After three jamborees, Coldwater is in third place in the I – 8 Conference. Coldwater will travel Friday to the Marshall Country Club to play in the Redhawk Invitational.
