COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Bond for a former Quincy school teacher who is facing six criminal sexual conduct charges will stay at $300,000.
A request from defense attorney Gary Gabry to have the bond modified for his client Jason Ferrell was denied Friday by Branch County Circuit Court judge Bill O’Grady.
No trial date has been scheduled yet. Ferrell has entered not guilty pleas to two counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct and four counts of second degree C.S.C..
Ferrell has been charged in connection with alleged incidents involving one of his former students. He is also facing three C.S.C. counts in Calhoun County for alleged crimes involving the same student.
