READING TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Two young people from Hillsdale County escaped serious injury on Thursday night in a rollover accident north of Reading.
Michigan State Police say an 18-year-old female from Jonesville was driving west on Quackenbush Road near Abbott Road when the vehicle went out of control. It then went off the road and over turned several times.
The driver and a 19-year-old female from Reading who a front seat passenger were transported from the scene to a nearby hospital for treatment and released.
Speed was determined to be a factor in the crash. Both women wore seatbelts and alcohol was not a factor.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by Reading Police, Reading Fire Rescue and Reading Emergency Medical Support.
