ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – An elderly Angola man is being held for attempted murder after a woman was shot Thursday.
Angola Police say 85-year-old Samuel Ford was being held in the Steuben County Jail pending an initial court hearing.
He was arrested after police found 81-year-old Dorsey Ford suffering from gunshot wounds at a home in the 1500 block of Henney Street.
She was taken to Cameron Hospital before being transferred to a Fort Wayne hospital.
Police did not reveal the circumstances which led up to the shooting or how many times the woman was shot.
The case is still under investigation.
