COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A former Quincy man was ordered to serve a sentence of between 23 months and five years in the Michigan Department of Corrections on Monday in Branch County Circuit Court for violating his probation in a pair of attempted second degree criminal sexual conduct cases.
32-year-old Thomas James Stump was given credit for 425 days already served and his probation was revoked.
Michigan Department of Corrections on line records indicate he absconded from probation on September 10.
He was sentenced on the two attempted C.S.C. charges on March 23 after entering no contest pleas.
The charges were filed by prosecutors in connection with incidents that took place between December 2017 and April 2018 involving two females who were under the age of 13 at the time.
