COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Although the latest COVID-19 restrictions prevented the Branch County Association of Realtors® from meeting in person, the Installation of 2021 Board of Directors took place via Zoom last week.
Outgoing President Brian George recapped the association’s community involvement over the past year.
Exiting 2020 Board of Directors members Jill Vella, John Rakocy, Josh Jones and Debbie Lounds-Bowers were acknowledged and thanked for their service. George presented the annual “President’s Award” to Angie Marsh for her support and continued commitment to BCAR.
George then introduced and installed the 2021 BCAR Board of Directors: President: Angie Marsh, PresidentElect: Sharon Atkinson, Treasurer: Carri Foley, Secretary: Grace Roberts, Directors: Jill Bowers, Anette Booth and Amber Modert, Affiliate Director: Steve Franks.
Marsh thanked George for his service to BCAR during such a crazy year and recognized members celebrating significant anniversaries with BCAR. Among those honored were Jenni Lint for 35 years and Mary Ann Ford for 40 years.
The Branch County Association of Realtors® 2020 “REALTOR® of the Year” was presented to Debbie Lounds-Bowers. Members voted Steve Franks State Farm Insurance as the 2020 “Affiliate of the Year” based on outstanding professionalism and Association activity.
