COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners approved a request on Tuesday from Sheriff John Pollack to amend a contract with Psychological Assessment PLLC to include additional hours of services to the inmates.
Currently, they provide up to five service requests per month at a cost of $400. Additional services are billed at $80 per contact.
Pollack asked that the service be expanded to include an additional four hours per week which would bring the total monthly cost to $1,300.
The additional cost would come out of the Sheriff’s Special Fund budget for the next two years.
In other business, the Commissioners selected Randall Hazelbaker to serve as Vice Chair through the end of the year. Former Vice Chair Terri Norris is serving as the Board Chair through the end of next month.
