BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – All of the Coldwater A.A.B.C. teams scored wins on Monday night.
The Coldwater Redbirds 14U team swept a doubleheader from Bronson 7th on Monday night by scores of 21-0 and 10-0.
Will Knowlan drove in six runs on three hits to lead Coldwater in the first game the Redbirds scored 11 runs in the first inning. Caiden Searing was the winning pitcher as he struck out four batters in two innings of work. Luke Stout and Searing each collected multiple hits.
Coldwater used a six run fourth inning to win the nightcap. Knowlan was the winning pitcher as allowed no hits and no runs over two innings, striking out five and not walking a batter. Stout went two-for-two at the plate.

The Coldwater Redbirds 10U team came out victorious in a hard fought battle against an ever improving 8U Quincy Village team 13-6.
Cameron Berry earned the win on the mound pitching two innings and striking out six, while giving up just one run. Blake Somerlott and Kannon Austin combined for the save each pitching an inning a piece while striking out three.
Gavin Hampton led the Redbirds with three hits while Dane Stritzinger and Blake Barle both had three RBIs. Kingston Quimby led Quincy with two RBIs.

The Coldwater Redbirds 8U team earned a 17-0 win Monday night against Qunicy’s Oriole Automotive squad.
Beau Dixon, Callen Longstreet, Connor Post, and Jack Post all had three hits while Preston Bain and Carter Okoniewski each drove in two runs as the Redbirds 8U squad moved to 6-2 on the season
