COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Shawarma Station in Coldwater recently headed up a $2,500 match amount to go towards the Coldwater Community Center at the Beech House foyer and stairway project.
Thanks to other donors, the Center was able to meet the match and now have $5,000 towards renovating the final room on the main floor, the foyer.
Renovations needed include refinishing the inlaid wood floors, removal of wallpaper, wall repair, wainscoting repair, plaster repair, and refinishing of the open staircase to the second floor.
Shawarma Station opened their doors last January next to Dutch Uncle Donuts and provides the community with Mediterranean cuisine.
