COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The field of candidates to become the next Superintendent of the Bronson Community School District has been reduced to three.
The field was cut in half after six candidates were interviewed Monday and Tuesday nights by the Bronson School Board.
All three of the finalists are currently serving as school principals. They are Patrick Weckel from Brandywine, Richard Hilderly from Tecumseh and Bob Cassiday from Fremont, Michigan.
As a final portion of the process, the public is being invited to attend a “meet and greet” of all of the final candidates Tuesday, June 20 at the Bronson Junior and Senior High School library from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., with final interviews to follow starting at 5:30 p.m.
Whoever is selected will take over for Teresa Belote who is leaving Bronson to become the new Superintendent of the St. Joseph County Intermediate School District.
