THREE RIVERS, MI (WTVB) – A 18-year-old driver from Elkhart, Indiana went off of M-60 northeast of Three Rivers on Thursday morning and crashed into a house. It happened at about 1:40 a.m.
The teen told the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office that he was trying to miss a deer, but deputies say they found he had marijuana.
Tests are being conducted to determine if the drugs were a factor in the accident. The driver was given a ticket for a moving violation.
