Enos Steury, age 93, of Quincy passed away at the Hillsdale Hospital on Monday, October 7, 2024.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at the Steury home of 1225 Strang Road, Quincy, MI 49082 with Bishop Leroy Eicher officiating. Interment will follow at Old Order Amish Cemetery in Butler Twp.
Visitation will be held at the Steury home Tuesday and Wednesday.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
He was born on August 13, 1931, in Fort Wayne, IN to Samuel and Anna (Schwartz) Steury. He married Anna Mae Brandenberger on April 26, 1951, and she preceded on February 16, 2021.
Enos was a member of the Old Order Amish Church in Quincy and served as a bishop there until he retired.
Survivors include sons, Joseph (Katherine) Steury, James (Mary) Steury, Michael (Rosie) Steury, Jake (Irene) Steury, and Steve (Catherine) Steury; daughters, Leann (Reuben) Eicher, and Irene (John) Steury all from Michigan; One brother Samuel Steury of Shipshewana, IN; 40 grandchildren, 175 great-grandchildren, 28 great-great-grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, 42 step-great-grandchildren, 6 step-great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; son, Jerome Steury; one granddaughter, 3 great-grandchildren; Brothers, Rudy, Henry, Amos, Martin, Elmer, Aaron, Joeseph; sister Susan; and son-in-law, Neal Eicher
