VICKSBURG, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Boys Tennis team finished their season at the M.H.S.A.A. Division Three Regional meet hosted by Vicksburg on Wednesday as they ended up in a sixth place tie with four points.
Evan Poradzisz at number four singles, the number one doubles team of Cayden Tucker and Tucker Wischmeyer, the number three doubles team of Caden Birts and Kush Patel and the number four doubles team of Clayten Bustos and Anthony Stevens all won their opening matches before being eliminated in the second round.
Richland Gull Lake won the regional title with 26 points followed by Stevensville Lakeshore with 22 points and St. Joseph with 21 points.
Vicksburg was fourth with 16 points, Parma Western was fifth with eight points with Coldwater, Niles, Edwardsburg, Sturgis and Plainwell all tied for sixth with four points apiece.
