China coast guard says Japanese fishing boat ‘illegally’ entered territorial waters, Chinese state media reports

BEIJING (Reuters) – China’s coast guard said a Japanese fishing vessel “illegally entered” China’s territorial waters around Diaoyu Islands on Oct. 15-16, Chinese state media reported on Thursday.

The coast guard said it took necessary control measures against the vessel in accordance with the law and warned it to leave, CCTV news reported.
